The Magic of Three Sticks
The rooted magical lore of the Old Faery Tradition has been obscured in our era by commercialism and whimsy. The Magic of Three Sticks is new work with old roots, aimed at enabling aspects of the Threefold Alliance of Human Faery and Living Creatures, as described in our books and classes, to develop within a shared human consciousness. This book is based on teachings and practical workshops presented from 1990 to the present day. Working with the Three Sticks is an original contemporary practice, albeit founded upon concepts within traditional folkloric magic. We do not claim this magical practice to be based on “ancient secrets” or that it has been “handed down” mysteriously. To go deeper than the modern trivializing of rooted faery lore and magic, we have included a short historical summary of the (often repressive) circumstances within which folkloric/faery magic survived for so many centuries. The Magic of Three Sticks is new work with old roots, aimed at bringing an aspect of the Threefold Alliance, as described in depth in our books and classes, closer within a shared human consciousness .
Includes illustrations and photographs, practical meditations and visionary work with Three Sticks based on folkloric traditions.
